AFRIDEV DEEP WELL HAND PUMP

Afridev Deep Well Hand Pump, manufactured as per SKAT-HTN Switzerland specifications, with 50mm dia open top, PVC brass lined cylinder assembly with extractable plunger and foot valves assemblies, suitable for depth upto 45 metre. This pump was designed on the basis of field trials in Africa, for drawing water upto a depth upto 45 metres. . It has a cylinder that allows the piston to be extracted without removing the rising main.

Major features of the Afridev Hand Pump are as under :-

•Bearing bushes are made from special plastics and the pump is hot dip galvanized.
•Variable handle settings are possible to meet changes in water levels at different times.
•Customization of spout length and Pedestal is possible.
•Choice of Eye & hook connecting rod or threaded connecting rod.
•Easy to install, can be accomplished by village women mechanics.
•Alternative stainless steel lined cylinder available for aggressive water conditions.
•Quick release Eye & Hook tool-less ends on Connecting Rods with rubber centralizers facilitate maintenance and protect the riser pipe against internal wear.
