INDIA MARK – III DEEP WELL HANDPUMPS

India Mark III Deep Well Hand pump, manufactured as per Indian Standard: IS:15500/2004, is suitable for depth upto 45/50 metres. Above ground structure made of mild steel, hot dipped galvanized, corrosion resistant, 50/65 mm dia cylinder assembly. This pump is modified version of India Mark II Hand Pump, with features of Village Level Operation & Maintenance (VLOM). The basic difference in India Mark - III Handpump and India Mark II Handpump is that this pump has Open Top Cylinder (OTC) which facilitates pulling out of plunger assembly and check valve assembly from the cylinder without pulling out the cylinder / riser main. Due to its features, this is also known as "Village Level Operation and Maintenance" (VLOM) Handpump.

•Since it has a simple cylinder assembly with single gun metal component in each valve, no tools are required for maintenance of valves.
•Rubber centralizers are used to maintain proper alignment of riser pipes.
•Pump can draw water upto a depth of 45 metres.
•Modifications incorporated in this pump simplify maintenance procedure and reduces maintenance. Maintenance can be done at village level.
• Below ground level repair could be carried out within a very short time without removing pipes.
•It minimizes breakdown time
